Coated Abrasives

Coated abrasive products consist of an abrasive grain bonded to a flexible substrate using adhesives. Common substrates include paper, cloth, vulcanized fiber, and plastic films. They generally come in grit sizes range from the very coarse to ultrafine. Other coated abrasive forms include sanding cords, pads, belts, and discs. They can be used by hand or as components on power tools - sanders, die grinders, and belt sanders to name a few.
