Description

3M? 8511 N95 Particulate Respirator Masks with Cool Flow? Valve ? NIOSH Approved ? Case of 80 ? MFG# 7000002056

  • 3M? Particulate Respirator 8511, N95 Distributor: eGrimesDirect Part Number: 8511 SAP ID: 7000002056 Legacy SKU: 70070757557 Local Catalog ID: 8511 Product Number: 54343 Overview The 3M? 8511 is a NIOSH-approved N95 particulate respirator designed for heavy-duty industrial use
  • It combines advanced electret filter media with a patented Cool Flow? exhalation valve to maintain high filtration efficiency (? 95 percent at 0.3 ?m) while reducing breathing resistance and interior heat build-up
  • Its rigid cup-style shell and adjustable noseclip ensure a secure seal and shape retention, making it suitable for extended wear in hot, humid, or dusty environments. Key Features NIOSH N95 Certified (42 CFR 84) Cool Flow? Exhalation Valve One-way polyisoprene valve for effortless exhalation and a cooler, drier interior Advanced Electret Media Permanently charged polypropylene fibers for consistent ? 95 percent filtration efficiency Cup-Style Shell Rigid non-woven polyester/polypropylene construction for shape retention and durability Adjustable M-Noseclip Malleable aluminum for a custom fit and reduced eyewear fogging Braided Comfort Straps Dual elastic polyisoprene, staple-attached for consistent tension (latex-free) Shelf Life Five years when stored between ?20 ?C and 30 ?C at less than 80 percent relative humidity Maintenance Free No additional filters or cartridges required Technical Specifications Attribute Detail Filter Class N95 (non-oil) Filtration Efficiency ? 95 percent at 0.3 ?m Filter Media Melt-blown electret polypropylene Inhalation Resistance ? 35 mm H?O @ 85 L/min Exhalation Resistance ? 25 mm H?O @ 85 L/min (valved) Valve Housing Polypropylene Valve Flap Polyisoprene Shell Material Non-woven polyester and polypropylene Headbands Braided elastic polyisoprene Nose Clip Malleable aluminum Temperature Reduction Approximately 4 ?C cooler vs non-valved Shelf Life Five years Certifications NIOSH 42 CFR 84
  • OSHA compliant Filtration Technology Utilizes a combination of inertial impaction, interception and diffusion to capture particles across a broad size range Electret fibers carry a permanent electrostatic charge to enhance submicron particle attraction Cake-resistant outer layers help delay filter clogging and extend usable life Cool Flow? Valve Mechanics One-way polyisoprene flap opens under minimal exhalation pressure Rapid expulsion of warm, moist exhaled air to reduce heat and humidity inside the mask Minimizes carbon dioxide buildup in the dead air space Valve remains sealed on inhalation to maintain N95 inward protection Usage & Maintenance Pre-Use Inspection Check mask for damage, deformation or missing components before each use Donning Cup the respirator under the chin with the noseclip at the top Pull the braided straps over the head?upper strap to crown, lower strap to neck Mold the M-noseclip around the bridge of the nose for a snug fit Seal Checks Positive Check: Exhale sharply
  • ensure no leaks around the seal Negative Check: Inhale sharply
  • mask should collapse slightly if sealed properly Single-Shift Use Dispose after one shift or sooner if breathing resistance increases or the mask is damaged Storage Keep in original packaging, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures and high humidity Note: Not intended for oil-based aerosols
  • Always follow your organization?s respiratory protection program requirements for training, fit testing and medical evaluation.
